four seasons

Imagine the warm sun on your face and shades of deep blue melding between the sea and sky... an abundance of fragrant flowers splashing colour on every corner... the aroma of freshly baked bread and the view of medieval villages perched above the coastline...

This is the South of France you've been dreaming of: -

Spring… is vibrant and starts early on the Riviera with the Nice Carnival and flower festival during February. By April the outdoor pool at Four Seasons Villa is open. May sees the world-famous Cannes Film Festival often followed immediately by the Monaco Grand Prix - it's an exciting time to visit the Riviera.

Summer… is undoubtedly the busiest time on the Riviera and the Azure blue Mediterranean is truly intoxicating. Long, lazy summer days enable you to savor the best of the beach cafes and restaurants late into the balmy evenings. There are numerous attractions whatever your taste including a host of water sports during the day and several concerts and theaters after sunset.

Autumn… can still be very warm and the less-busy roads enable you to tour the region and visit some of the exquisite medieval villages, château's, vineyards, museums and stunning art galleries. It's also a great time to shop in Cannes, Nice or Monaco, where you can see some of the world's most exotic cars and yachts.

Winter… has attracted visitors to the Cote d'Azur for over two hundred years. People can't resist swimming in the Mediterranean Sea on New Years day! Off-season is a great time to stay at Four Seasons Villa, whether your preferred choice is; skiing, snowboarding, golf, horse riding, tennis, walking, or foraging in the local markets... and when you're all done you can relax beside the log fire!

It is with good reason that the French Riviera is always a magnet to discerning individuals who truly appreciate the finer things in life. Boasting 300 days of sunshine... glistening azure seas and beautiful beaches with distant views of the snowcapped Southern Alps... whatever the season you are planning to visit the Riviera you are sure to find much to appeal to you.
